As a family owned business, Eagle Rock has been running canoes from this same location since 1981.


Mark & Paula Cook took over in 1989, making many changes. Eagle Rock has become the longest running, best equipped Canoe & Kayak Rental in the area.
They are always there to welcome you to the beautiful Upper Allegheny River - nestled in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in the friendly Town of Tionesta, Pennsylvania.

 

Over the years they have taken great pride promoting
courteous service and above all - safety for their guests.

They have watched thousands enjoy the Upper Allegheny River - the best canoeing and kayaking river in North Western Pennsylvania.

 

 All trips include transportation upstream to the starting point, allowing you to paddle down river at your leisure until you return to Eagle Rock. It's great fun to take fishing gear, swimming accessories, picnic lunches and beverages. Or, if you like, just enjoy the river.

Unlike the Clarion River - The Upper Allegheny River is considered the best because it is not directly affected by the weather (unless extreme). This is thanks to the Kinzua dam 45 miles from Eagle Rock. While most streams and the Clarion River are running too high or too low, the Allegheny tends to stay at a steady pace. This makes your trip as enjoyable in May as it is in August.

It's no fun to go hiking with an 80 pound canoe.
